Catalina Island Company

We took the Bison Tour in Catalina and had the amazing Cindy as our guide! She was so knowledgeable and kept us engaged the entire time. We sat right behind her and truly enjoyed every minute. Riding in the Hummer was such a fun experience, and we even saw seven bison! The tour was entertaining from start to finish. Chef’s kisses for this one with Cindy! 👏🐃🌴

We recently visited Catalina Island for the second time with a group of friends. During our first visit, we rented a golf cart to see the island. On our second visit, we decided to take the Bison Expedition through Catalina Island Company. It was such a great tour and I highly recommend it! We were able to see parts of the island most visitors don't get the opportunity to see, as it's protected land. It was beautiful and we saw 2 bison. Our tour guide, Cindy Lowe, was the best part! She shared tons of island knowledge, kept the atmosphere fun, and showed us a great time! 10/10

KUDOS for our Bus Tour guide CINDY LOWE!!! Our day trip started with her at the helm of that cute refurbished bus up and down thru Avalon... she shared some of her life experiences with us about how she landed on this beautiful island & it was like being with family on a perfect Sunday afternoon! One request - since she has a great singing voice she graced us with!- of our little band of 4 friends- 2 recall a popular song about Avalon- "26 miles..." < sorry- I didn't know the whole title!">- but the lyrics(& music!) would be so good to include somewhere on this tour- any chance😉🤗- 😃

We did the Bison tour and it was such an amazing experience! Cindy Lowe, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable about the island and its history, while cracking some hilarious dad jokes and providing a fun off roading experience. We were debating this excursion as it seemed a bit pricey at first, but it was worth every penny.

First trip to Catalina. Hotel Atwater is gorgeous and just off the main thoroughfare. The staff are gracious and incredibly helpful. Precious at the front desk wonderful! We did the Avalon city tour (good to get an overview), the nighttime flying fish tour (amazing!), and the bison expedition with Cindy Lowe, who was knowledgeable and funny and an amazing driver over the old stagecoach road! We look forward to coming back.

I went on the Bison Expedition Tour on 8/12/25 with the amazing tour guide Bear! He was super funny, informative, and a great driver. He did a great job making everyone feel welcome and comfortable on the tour. His storys were really well delivered. We saw many bison and even a baby fox. Great views of the island. This tour was my favorite part of my vacation!

There’s not a single bad thing I can say about this island, everything is beautiful. The hotel was excellent and very clean, with two free bottles of wine, and the young man who greeted us when we arrived from the ferry with our luggage was very kind. Everyone in the shops and restaurants truly looked happy, and their attitude was amazing! The tour staff were super friendly and fun! Our favorite person was Cindy Lowe from the Bison Tour 🦬 , she was incredible. This is the kind of island you never want to leave if you love nature. We saw lots of bison, foxes, squirrels, and deer! It honestly feels like being in a tiny little country 😍. We love it!

I went on the Bison Expedition with my husband for the first time on this island. It was the besttttt thing we did!!!! The Bison Expedition is a must try!!! So adventurous, exciting and fun!!!! Especially if you win THE Jackpot of tour guides; Cindy Lowe; she made this whole experience! She went out of her way to entertain us, she even sang us a beautiful song with her breathtaking voice!!!! Which way definitely a bonus! Highly recommend!!!
