This review is a celebration of a man called Steve. Steve, you did a casual reverse psychology sales job regarding micro spike rental for our Bear 🐻 lake adventure. Let us say, they came in the clutchest. Best $10 we’ve ever spent. Had a beauty day hiking and enjoying all the nature with ease. We thought of you often with fondness and gratitude. Thank you, Steve, you’re a real one. We have included photos of the snow to verify the veracity of this tale.

Very cool shop. Great for cyclists to access as there is not much car parking. Lots of stuff and from a quick browse appeared to have some quality things. Staff were very friendly, fun, and welcoming. Only drawback is some of the prices are pretty high.

Wife and I stopped in at the recommendation of a park ranger while on the hunt for spikes for our shoes. Store has alot to offer overall but wanted to give a shout out to Steve (I believe) who helped us upon entry. He was knowledgeable regarding the different types of traction devices and helped us get some rentals to try. He went above and beyond to share details about the park, as well as some current feedback he had on the trail conditions. Great store, great team. If you need gear, stop here !

Best place in town to get hiking gear! Forest went above and beyond to help us have crampons for our trip to the national park. He was very kind and helpful. Really reasonable prices to help keep the outdoors accessible, couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you!

Boutique camping store with all quality items for outdoors and camping. Mostly clothes but also hiking boots, camping and hiking gear in addition to gift items like stickers and magnets. Friendly staff happy to help you find the right product. Located on main street in Estes.

Great place to rent Spikes/poles from, right downtown. Staff went above the expected and unboxed a new pair of spikes to rent to us, highly recommend coming here for any rentals you need for RMNP!

Asked for service for camping on Sunday at 2. The two lads in the back could have cared less. Estes park merchants complain about the rent and the drop in tourist revenue but maybe focus on treating the customers that want to shop with some respect !!
