Southern States

I stopped on a restroom break while traveling. The owners were a joy to talk to and I went through the entire some it had things that I didn't know I needed ❤️ and picked some up

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I was looking for vegetable plants for a late-started garden and found several things I wanted to grow. The plants are healthy and hearty looking, so we will have a good variety of tomatoes, squash, zucchini, peppers, etc growing this year.

Friendly, accommodating, fairly priced. I think the owner is who I dealt with and maybe his wife. They seemed to be anyway. Really nice though and eager to help this newcomer acclimate back home!!!

The people working there know what they are doing, but they do not know how customer service works. I dropped off four chains to be sharpened and was told to pick them up in a week. One week later I was told that they were two weeks behind. I ended up at harbor freight buying a electric sharpener for what southern states would have charged to do the job. The mechanic spends more time up front than working on equipment. Not everyone can afford new equipment and he turns away anything older than a couple years old.

Very reasonable and if your live on a farm it's the place to go. In and out in a flash. If they don't carry something they can order and be there before you know it. Bought a riding mower from them in the year 2000 and the mower is still going today.

Didn't go into purchase anything, but went to gather information on gardening. Forrest the owner was very helpful and gave me some alternative ideas to the problem I was having. When I have purchased from them, Forrest,Johnny, and Nick are always there to help in anyway they can. Good people!!

Pretty nice place. Nearly always have propane to refill when tractor supply doesn't. Doesn't take all day.

Southern States has merchandise we can't get anywhere else in Ohio County, KY. Great service and nice people in store.
