I screened the film, Kiss the Ground, at my library and George came from the Center to answer audience questions and talk about the farm and permaculture. He was very informative and personable. George made the connection between what was on the film and what what is happening here in Florida. The audience loved it!

I had a wonderful experience at the Permaculture Resource Center. The tour was great, and I got my first in-person introduction to the principles of permaculture! The property has a large pond with ducks, and an old-growth Florida forest with beautiful and rare trees that are worth seeing. The property contains an outdoor kitchen and campground, and acres of beautiful and useful foliage and animals. I especially liked picking leaves and fruit off the plants and eating them on our walk! I wish I lived in the area so I could volunteer here, this is a truly wonderful place with a wonderful guardian!
