Forsyth County Water Department

A crew came out to fix a water leak. The leak was in my yard near the meter. They dug my yard up with a backhoe. Although the gass was marked they cut two coaxial lines. Now I'm without Internet. When they left they moved the dirt back into the hole and threw some straw on top. Now my yard is a muddy mess and I have to call around to have my internet lines repaired. They left mud on my driveway and in the road. It looks like a bunch of 10 year old boys come in and destroyed my lawn and left me without Internet. Guess what, the joke is on me. Update: the crew that created this disaster was a sewage crew. They had no idea what they were doing. Now I have a new crew coming at some point to do more damage. Oh boy!!

The Water Dept was working on a leak two doors down from me across the road from me. I have a smaller yard than the person with leak as well as the person living next to the house with the leak. But, the Water Dept chooses to park in my yard with their back hoe. I asked them to move their equipment into the yard with the leak. They have a huge yard and the equipment could have been in an area of their yard not near the leak. Why my yard two door down? The 3 workers looked at me and walked off. They did not move their equipment. I called the water dept and left message for Supervisor Loggins. No return call yet.

Thanks guys for coming by today! Looking forward to the 90 day email reports. The suspect could be the stick bug that created a 30K leak concern after Midnight for over 8 hrs. Or it could be a temperature change @ hotel Fman. Not sure

I am signed up for autopsy. Every month I have to call and pay by phone because they always turn off the autopsy. These people are terrible to deal with.

As another reviewer has posted, conducting business on behalf of seniors or the deceased is a cruel and outrageous exercise. I sold my mother's home on her behalf and the service address has already been transferred to a new owner. They would not close the account because they would only speak with the authorized party, who happens to be in a nursing home. Nice. I tried, as nicely as I could, to engage them on this topic; I was roundly ignored. Basically, if you want water? Shut up and jump through the hoops! They cannot be bothered to accomodate your situation.

We were trying to establish new service and we discovered the sellers of the property had already scheduled to shut the water off. Afreen, our customer service specialist, went above and beyond and was able to get a hold of the technician in order to keep the water on for our new home. Afreen was kind and extremely helpful — thank you for all you do!!

The customer service is very poor. The representatives are extremely rude and unhelpful.

By far the worse company I’ve ever had to deal with. No remorse or compassion ever. I wish I could use another service.
