In my opinion Alderspring Ranch is not only the best beef you can buy but also the best online service. I have purchased from them for several years and never had one problem either with the product or the delivery. Is it the cheapest you can buy, no, but it checks all the boxes for me. It is regeneratively raised so its good for the environment and the beeves are humanely raised so they had a good life. Glenn and his family are good people and I'm glad I have the opportunity to do business with them.

I've been buying beef from Alderspring for a few years now. Excellent beef with great flavor! They ship weekly in very well insulated packed boxes with plenty of dry ice so if it sits on your doorstep all day, it will be fine!

Fortunately for wild animals and wild places, market hunting ended over 100 years ago. With this change, wild meat became a delicacy exclusive to hunters. Wild ruminant meat with a consistently palatable fat is even less obtainable; wild bison have been functionally extinct since before market hunting ended. As a rancher and hunter, obsessed with knowing where my food comes from, I am ever grateful to the stewards of Alderspring Ranch for responsibly grazing their cattle over wild landscapes, for supplying me with wild-as-possible ruminant meat and fat, and for publishing newsletters that never fail to inspire and educate.

Our Delmonico “the Jack” was one of the tastiest steaks I have tried! Be aware it is grass fed ranged beef so the marbling is nowhere near a prime steak. Also sadly the processors left zero fat cap on this bad boy. But seared in the cast iron and butter basted it was tasty and juicy!!

Thank you for raising beef the way it should be. The very first time I set a pack of your ground beef next to my last pack of store bought beef, the difference is night and day. I will never consume store beef again. Also, my HDL is higher than has ever been. Coincidence? Or good Omega 3s?
