Why is it that the city does not offer a payment plan for people who are struggling with paying their bill? Every other utility does, even Midco. If your homeless the city bends over backwards to help you, but if your a tax paying citizen, too bad. The city should start doing more to help those who help finance it and less porthole who just want handouts.

Since being City Manager the water bills have gone up and are one of the highest in the state, the homeless camps have taken over the city's downtown, and our property taxes have gone up 3.5 mills the highest at least the last 50 years. This guy needs to be fired!!

This city manager isn't good at all, since he came to Lawrence in 2019 prices for anything and everything in Lawrence Ks have skyrocketed, also the people seem to have less of a voice now, usually when the voters say something the city manager listens, not this guy he thinks he knows everything, sadly the city manager seems to not know what fixed budget or income is, it was reckless to spend money on a new city sign and a splash park, during a pandemic makes it even more questionable. Sadly this isn't just the city managers fault, its the city commissioners faults as well, but the city manager is responsible for arguing with people and thinking he knows best. I have a no vote of confidence for this guy cause at the end of the day he doesn't care about the people just himself.

He is destroying our once beautiful city And hiking taxes and the base. It is causing a shortfall for him by citizens taking their shopping elsewhere so he is hiking the taxes even more.

The construction on 23rd has been going on for ages without any results. All they did is create a mess and obstruction of traffic. Who is running this city? Ghosts or just incompetent unreliable people.. Don't this snail so called road work (civil works) wasting our tax dollar creating a mess and obstruction of traffic. This needs to address immediately! This is a total joke.

I'm upset that a City Manager who is not from Lawrence Ks. Comes in to cut funding for our Humane Society. Then the adasity to close Prairie Park Nature Center. Prairie Park is so instrumental to Lawrence! They provide such a wonderful service to our young children. They offer summer camps. Not to mention acre's of national prairie! As a grandparent I simply cannot wrap my head around these two major cuts to our community. In favor of what?

The city manager has his own agenda and he doesn't care about what is best for the city taxpayers!

Doesn’t listen to the tax paying community. Taxes keep escalating as instead of making decisions to balance budget they just raise the taxes.
