Huck Boyd Community Center

I had a super fun experience at the Huck Boyd community Center, thank you so much for your time. The CNR railroad museum was stunning and in great detail. The operator of the railroad was super enjoyable and showed us the number of trains and rail lines along with a number of the attractions. I was really impressed by the Ferris wheel as it lit up and had music. The miniature rail line is quite large and it's situated in its own area.

Wow! This is an amazing world-class and first-class railroad museum and experience. The train layout is huge and the railroad O gauge railroad stock collection is extensive. Our host allowed us to run the trains under his watchful and helpful eye (his experience and real-life tales added to the day!). The photo studio behind the trains is a lesson in the life of the (important!) small town photographer who grew up chasing trains and turned his passion into a train collection for future generations to both cherish and enjoy!

5 stars is not enough. I’m not sure how my found parents found out about the C&R rail road museum. We just showed up. Found an employee cleaning carpet in the Huck Boyd center. He opened up the museum. I was not expecting what this place has. He operated a few trains. Then instructed my sons how to operate the train display. Each operated their favorite trains. What an experience for them. My parents ventured into the photography rooms. My mom found several family photos. We had no idea these existed.

There were no bleachers for the field we were on. We're not notified ahead of time so we could bring our own chairs.

A great venue for smaller concerts. Comfortable seating and great stage. This is a n excellent community asset for the arts.

Wonderful O gauge railroad. The volunteers who run it are very kind and accommodating. Worth the trip. Railroad only open Sunday afternoons 2-3 pm.

Very nice place for all kinds of activities. I ate dinners here, seen programs , plays, voted here and went to school and church programs. Just a super place.
