Ape Made It Boutique

My baby shower was held at The Back Room at Ape Made It Boutique and it was absolutely perfect. We had 60 seated guests and still plenty of room to walk around to get food and beverages. The amount of “extra” items that are included in the space are incredible: mimosa bar cart, dessert cart, large seat for the guest of honor, balloon arch, white backdrop for decorating/photos. This is a hidden gem that I will be recommending for all showers, small parties, etc. going forward! Thank you April for letting us use your amazing space to celebrate baby boy!

This place is a hidden gem. It is absolutely perfect for baby shower bridal shower, retirement party whatever it has it all. It has a kitchen. It has a long table for caters. It has a bathroom. It has a champagne mimosa bar a little cart that you could use for dessert, a backdrop and many many more things. My only regret is that I wish I knew about this place sooner. The owner is absolutely wonderful to work with and so sweet. Parking is not a problem because the parking lot across the street as long as you park close to the street.

I had my future daughter-in law a bridal shower at Ape Made Its Back Room this past Saturday and it was absolutely perfect! The venue is Beautiful! The room is Bright and very roomy! With the room you also get a Desert and Drink cart. She also provides backdrops and arches to use so you don’t have to rent. There is no place I looked at to rent that even came close to The Back Room as far as the beauty of it and all the EXTRAS that it comes with. But to go another step further the room in itself was amazing BUT April who owns Ape Made It and her staff especially Katie who was there to help at our event I can’t say enough about all of them. April is the most welcoming, generous and friendly person I have ever dealt with. I did not know her until I went to her boutique and you would have thought it was someone I have known forever. She is so compassionate about her business and the people that come in to shop/or rent her room. If you are looking for a place to rent for a get together, you will not find a better place than The Back Room. In addition, If you are also looking for a shop that has quality items, go see April and her staff at Ape Made It Boutique.

We rented The Back Room for my daughter's high school graduation. The space was PERFECT! We were able to set it up how we wanted and it was so easy. Guests were so impressed and several have considered renting the space in the future. I know I will be! April is so easy to work with and very accommodating! I can't sing her praises enough!

I hosted my daughter’s baby shower there in March 2024. Everything was perfect! The boutique owner went above and beyond to make sure all of our wants/needs were met! She was gracious enough to even let us borrow a piece of furniture from her store to use as a prop at the shower. The room provided the perfect space for the shower of my daughter’s dreams!! Several guests have since booked the venue for their events. She has a balloon arch and several other props including a champagne cart, dessert cart, various signs etc. that she allows you to use at no additional charge!! Definitely a hidden gem. I highly recommend and will most definitely be using this venue for all my future events!

While the venue is gorgeous and a lot of work has been put into it the owner seems to not be actively running the event venue. We booked my bridal shower back in March for August. The venue was somehow double booked (it happens) but she didn’t figure it out until 5 days before our event. And the worst part was she didn’t even figure it out, a vendor figured it out and contacted her. While she attempted to make it right she did proceeded to be nasty to my mother and speak to her in a nasty manner any time they interacted. We were told we had to move our party up or find a new venue. We were asked to move it from 2-6 to 12-3 and the next people would be in at 4. At 3:10 the next group starts coming in and the owner proceeded to be nasty to my mother about how she knew she had to be out at 3. So she wanted what was originally supposed to be a 4 hour event to now to be 2 hours or less. she knew I drove 5 hours for this. I’m incredibly disappointed in this venue and its owner and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Because if a friend decides they want the venue she won’t hesitate to screw you over. The end of my shower was ruined by her and her behavior.

Very good, well put together establishment! Would recommend to others! Great quality clothing and other items!
