Benton Farm Agricultural Learning Center

Had a great time with my daughter and grandchildren. Very interesting vendors. The music in the barn was a nice touch. My granddaughter loved dancing, and loved the petting area. I was surprised there wasn't a "pick your own" pumpkin patch. Kids love those. Great day.

Fantastic! We have gone a few times as a family and our youngest did one of their summer camps. The staff (all ages) are very nice, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the farm, caring for the animals and sharing their enthusiasm with visitors. The summer camp was an amazing, fun experience for our 6.5 year old. Had a wonderfully, fun time learning how to do numerous farm "chores". Everything from cuddling baby ducks and baby goats, and baby bunnies, to milking cows, riding horses, fishing, sheering sheep, and plenty more. I definitely recommend visiting this place. Make sure you call ahead of time though. It's a non profit, run by volunteers. So you want to make sure someone will be there when you go. And to be sure there isn't a camp going on or a school field trip or something. But definitely a great time for everybody and anybody in the family when you do go.

The Mrs and I adore Benton Farms in Walton, Kentucky. 😍 We found them via the Harvest Hosts program for RVers and have stayed with them several times now as we've needed to be in the greater Cincinnati tri-state area. Beyond Harvest Hosts for RVers... it's an educational farm that has programs for local school children. Very cute setup and fairly wide array of animals and buildings. We love finding GEMS💎 like Benton Farms as we travel and using the Harvest Hosts app/program.🤩

Great place to stop, relax and spend the night with 50 or 30 amp plug-in, the host Mary is very welcoming and her cute farm animals! Highly recommended, harvest host, camping spot! You will not be disappointed! Very close to interstate close to Cincinnati. 10 stars!

I really enjoyed the fall festival at the Benton Farm! I've never seen that many vendors at a fall festival, and it was unique to have it on a farm. They had a petting area with a Highland cow, adult and baby goats, a rabbit, hen and rooster. They also had food vendors and music. It was very well done and organized! This farm has been in the family for generations, and I'm so happy to see local farms prospering! They are a non-profit, and you can go online and donate to help purchase animal feed, etc.

My 12yo had a great time as a camper and looks forward to being a future camp counselor.

Went to the spring fling craft show and festival on Saturday. It was really nice. So many vendors! I think this is an event that will just keep expanding and I can’t wait for even more food vendors to come next year! It’s amazing that one farm can host all these events and have so much support from local businesses and firefighters etc! The ONLY negative thing I have to say is, we peeked over at the goats while getting ice cream, and one of the poor little goats was being chased by a girl, it obviously just wanted to eat and not be picked up, but she kept going, jumping over other goats, running to catch this poor thing. I was really hoping someone would be supervising (the parents weren’t) but the girl that worked there didn’t seem to care too much, the goat just looked so stressed out, and as soon as she caught it, it cried the whole time she squeezed jt. It eventually leaped out of her arms. I love seeing the animals and kids getting to interact with them, but chasing them when they can’t really escape is sad. The goats were adorable though!

We had my daughter’s 3rd party at Benton Farm in the Gathering Room. All of our guests agree with us, the farm was the perfect place for a birthday party. First, the room is very nice and spacious. A full kitchen is available for use. The best part was the hands-on and informative barn and farm tour by two “guides”. The kids (and adults) enjoyed petting and learning about baby calves, lambs, kids, rabbits, sheep, chickens, etc. The “guides” were full of information and good with the young kids. It was such a fun morning on the farm and I’d recommend it to anyone! Thank you Mary and everyone at Benton Family Farms!
