Express Valet Cleaners

We did business with the original crew that was there, and never had a problem. Service was always professional, fast, friendly. The company expanded, and opened a second location off of Clayton. Before they opened the 2nd location, a family member came with me, we dropped off 2 winter coats and 2 hats +an expensive sauce bomber coat, and a down coat), got the receipt and told it would take about 3 weeks, because they had to send it out. In the meantime, the original crew moved to the Clayton location, and some guy they hired was working at this location alone. He is very shady, untrustworthy, arrogant and unprofessional. I called and he said our order was not back yet. I went in and he couldn't seem to find it. I took my husband with me the second time, he claimed it wasn't in the system, and he couldn't find the order. Then, my husband looked at the rack of clothes to his right and immediately spotted our order. He acted all Innocent, I don't know, there is nothing in the system. We walked out with our clothes and never returned to this location. I heard this guy has been stealing money and people's clothes. GO TO THE CLAYTON LOCATION ONLY.

I dropped off a pair of pants to be hemmed on 5/25/19 and they told me it would be ready by Friday. It’s been 10 days now, stopped by yesterday, they told me they would be in later that day, decided to wait till today and just called and they are still not ready. Can’t speak for their cleaning services, but I’m going back to my regular tailor. Learned my lesson...also kinda sketchy when you walk in and no one greets you for a good 5 minutes. I even waved to the people in the back and they actively avoided making eye contact with me. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if they lost my pants. Edit: They didn’t lose my pants. It took them 11 days when I was quoted 5. Pants are in fine condition, they pressed them for me. Still can’t recommend their alterations service.

I prepaid and when I came in to pick up they said I didn’t prepay. Checked my bank account and it hadn’t gone through so I paid again and suddenly it showed up twice on my bank account. Read the review before mine as well as this one. Seems they’re stealing. Bummer.

I've been going to Express Valet for about 2 months now. They do great work and the staff is so friendly and kind. I recently took in a collection of shirts and pants and didn't realize my work badge which is rather nice with an emerald inlay was still attached to my collar. It came back in it's own bag with the shirt. I was so anxious about losing it, I searched my whole house, and then bam there it is at the cleaners! Thank you for your hard work and integrity. Great cleaners!

terrible service, the man with his very long hair, I don’t know his name, in my case he has no education or patience, poor service, What a bad expérience today.

Have always been pleased with their service. Friendly staff. Have taken a few items that had pilling and they took care of at no additional charge.

Very friendly and good service. The only negative thing is getting to this business. It's located on corner of a one way street and a busy street with no parking. Must park on the one way street or behind the building. Left hand turn onto one way street prohibited when approaching from the south. All of this makes stopping at this business complicated.

I will not be using the S. Kingshigway location again. I'm one and done. The Clayton location will be my go to for dry cleaning.
