Nice little 1.5 mile flat walk. Trail is through fields and trees and well mowed. There were a few sections that could have been mowed a little wider. Very quiet and seemed to be dog friendly. We will come back.

Very nice area 🤩👌.Very flat and a great place to walk the dogs or take the kids for a quick hike 🏃‍♂️. Poland Spring owns the land here, along with thousands more acres at several sites in Maine. The company has an incentive to protect the watershed to ensure good water for its bottling operations. 💦 So Poland Spring has reforested the area with pitch pine, white pine, and red pine. 🌲Reforestation is underway at this particular recreational area, too, which was once an airfield (in the 1940s) ✈️and a prosperous potato farm. A series of No Trespassing signs make clear where visitors can and can’t go on the land. Directions: From Route 35, take a right onto Plains Road, go PAST Decker circle ( it’s not a thru road ) and turn right onto the unmarked dirt road You’ll come to a large parking area and a green sign for the trails at the end of the dirt road. This was a really easy 2 mile loop walk through wooded fields. There are lots of wild flowers in June. Very pretty? Very quiet.

This trail is fantastic for dogs and kids. There's enough plants and trees on both sides to keep them on the trail. However, address is wrong. Currently it takes you to Decker rd, which is private property. Instead put in this address 564 Plains Rd, Hollis, ME 04042. It'll take you to the building next to the trail, Saco River Community TV. The trail is on the dirt road to the right of the building.
