Franklin City Municipal Court

Worst court there is and probably crooked they went behind my back and had a whole court date and everything for me to try and defend myself against A collection agency when I know I’m in the right for it. They forged my signature. I never got any paperwork about it. Never got any approval work about it every time I would make calls and I would get a phone call back they would tell me there’s no court date set yet so in a way I was lied to I have been almost stripped of my first amendment because they post a sidenote stating that I’m extremely difficult to communicate with and I’m argumentative which the only questions I’m asking is how did you get my signature who came up there for it? Where did you send all this paperwork to? They couldn’t give me answer so I tried to record the clerk telling me what she told me again and they hung up on me and then put a side note in. So my question is how did they manage to get my signature on a day where I worked a 12 hour day and they close at 4:30 and I didn’t get out of work until 630 but they got my signature and when I went to record what she had said I got rudely hung up on and then the sidenote as seen in pictures that I’m argumentative and difficult to communicate with shouldn’t do illegal things I’m looking into a lawyer for this and I’m gonna get to the bottom of it

Nobody answers a phone or calls you back and they say they don’t answer the phones for what I said when the second option when you call the number says that you can speak to someone about traffic violations, the officer never fully put in the information for the ticket and I called the call center to pay and find out what I owed since I had no idea and the lady at the call center is the one who told about that information after I checked online over and over and the option to pay wasn’t posted when there should’ve been. Then I had to pay $150 dollars for not making a complete stop at a stop sign which is insane. This city is freaking ridiculous and the workers here are completely incompetent.

Noone ever answers the phone. I set up a payment plan for a ticket and now the website doesn't give me an option to pay it. I have to pay it by the end of the month. No one is answering the phone to pay over the phone and can't online. This place is awful. The tickets are over priced because you aren't just paying for your violation. You are also paying for different classes and resources that have nothing to do with your issue. This place is a terrible!

Went there to pay a tint ticket in person the lady at the window was extremely nice she was nothing but professional. I dont understand the bad reviews. I told her I would write a review today. to the clerk at the window with the blonde hair you rendered excellent customer service and did a fantastic job thank you for proving the negative reviews wrong.

Left payment for a ticket, called the next day to assure everything was straight. I was told everything was squared away. This week I received a suspension because the officer didn't record I showed him my electronic proof of insurance nor stated such in court. This should have been mentioned over the phone. I was also informed to leave a call back number, but am unsure why because they will not call you back. Their website is extremely simple and provides little direction aside from a phone number and address. Terribly outdated and inefficient. I've had much smoother experiences with other courts, and feel as though I've payed my debt twice over for a simple speeding violation.

I was pulled over on February 7th at about noon in Franklin by a trooper. When he served me my ticket, I asked him how much the fee was, and he stated that he could not give me prices, but that I could go online to pay my ticket and I would not need to appear in court. I checked every day on the court's website for my ticket to be put into the system. Now, they do state on their website that it will take 3-4 business days for the citation to show in their system. That was cool with me, my court date wasn't until February 18th. I found the price of the ticket online, which was incredibly high and absolutely absurd for going under 20 over, but whatever. I was just going to wait until I could pay my ticket online and be done with all of this. Fast forward to seven days later (five business days later) and my ticket is still not in the system. I call the court building, and someone actually answered! In the most annoyed and unpleasant tone possible, she informed me that my ticket wasn't showing in their system either. She then proceeds to tell me I won't be able to view it until one or two days BEFORE my court date. Well, here we are, February 17th at 5:00pm, and my citation is still. not. in. their. system. I cannot even view my citation to pay it THE NIGHT BEFORE MY COURT DATE. There is a lot of choice words I have for this system and the people I have dealt with during this process. So now I need to be at the court building tomorrow, on a work day, before 3pm so I don't have my license suspended.

The whole ticket system here is a scam! I completely own up to the speeding ticket but I didn’t appreciate the misleading information regarding fines!! The automated system gives you ticket amounts based on your speed but if you pay it online be prepared to pay a 7.75 service charge as well as an additional 13 dollars that no one can explain. My ticket was due on a Friday and it wasn’t available to pay until THE DAY BEFORE. Then when I noticed the difference in amount I attempted SEVERAL times to contact the court and left a message for NO ONE to return my call!! My $142 ticket showed $162.75 after all of their hidden fees!! It’s a shame court systems can take advantage of people like this!!! PLEASE BEWARE!!!!

Received a speeding ticket. Instead of being able to pay over the phone, I have to go to court while having Covid-19, even though my ticket says I don’t have to appear. Receptionist was very rude, told me everyone has covid and to deal with it.
