Loved the experience at flower child! The food feels very clean light and healthy. I got the chicken with Mac n cheese side and broccoli. Personally I thought the chicken was slightly dry but not bad. My boyfriend realllyyyy liked the Mac and cheese it’s light but creamy. We also got the chicken yakisoba noodles which was really good I loved the flavoring and seasoning! There’s lots of veggies too which was great. I really liked the flowers at the tables and the decorations and overall atmosphere was just right. Really liked it will definitely come back to visit!!

Many items are made from scratch, and the menu supports different dietary restrictions, including gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options, all clearly labeled. My go-to dishes are the Mother Earth Bowl with salmon and the chopped vegetable salad. However, the quality isn’t what it used to be—I’ve noticed small details slipping, like vegetables being chopped larger and subtle changes in flavor. The gluten-free, vegan brownies were good but a bit too sweet for my taste. Still, it’s my favorite spot before or after a movie at Look Theater, and I always feel good after eating here.

Excellent tasting food. Atmosphere was relaxed, modern, colorful and comfortable. Would eat here again and would highly recommend Flower Child to vegans or vegetarians, as they have more than a handful of suitable options

The food was fresh and delicious, and I was pleased with the variety of bowls available. The customer service was excellent, and I appreciated the friendly and attentive staff. The interior design of the restaurant was also very nice and bright, which created a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and left feeling happy and satisfied.

Tasty, fresh salad. Ordered the Ginger Miso Crunch with chicken. Also grabbed a chocolate chip cashew cookie. Salad was delicious 😋.

Great place to grab a bite. Food portions are on the smaller side for what you pay for compared to other places in the area. I ordered the Mediterranean Chicken Kabob bowl (without summer squash).

Was visiting family in the Washington DC area when we stumbled upon this amazing restaurant! To say their food is healthy is an understatement. The quality and care taken to ensure that every bite does the most for your mental and physical health is evident from when you first walk in the door. Everything you see on the menu is exactly what you get! Nothing is fake or processed! The staff is very kind and friendly and we're patient with my numerous questions as this was the first time I'd ever been here. The atmosphere is relaxing and fun! We sat outside because it was a beautiful August afternoon and there was a slight breeze making it seem a bit cooler than it actually was. We each order different things and shared our bites and came to the conclusion that everything was freaking delicious! The fact that it was healthy was a lovely side benefit! As you can see from the pictures, everything is colorful and well plated. Sometimes salads can leave you feeling hungry a couple of hours later, not so at the flower child. Flavorful, feeling, and delicious! I cannot find enough adjectives to describe how much I love this place! I wish they had one closer to where I live, and will definitely pop in here the next time I'm in the DC area.

Overall, my experience was decent, and I would recommend it as a solid option, especially if you're in a hurry. While my tuna bowl didn't really stand out, it was a perfectly fine meal. I think my enjoyment may have been influenced by what I ordered; the tuna bowl was just alright, it was fresh, but it lacked the flavor was hoping for.
